This email list a forum for researchers who are currently involved in using the Health and Retirement Study data. This list will facilitate discussion about ways in which the various datasets have been used in the past and how previous experience may enhance the data's usability in future research. Users are encouraged to post project descriptions, past and future research questions, discussions of variables and their uses, and any problems or kernels of wisdom that you think might be worth sharing. This group also meets in real time, once a month, at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the cpd_hrs Archives.
Using cpd_hrs
To post a message to all the list members, send email to cpd_hrs@hsphsun3.harvard.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to cpd_hrs
Subscribe to cpd_hrs by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
